Baseball “Fans”?

Posted in Uncategorized by idiotwebmaster on July 15, 2011

Watching baseball live is no longer a family event. We were enjoying a game last night with our 5 year old. Until the end of the 5th inning when 5 Hispanic gentlemen sat down behind us and began having a loud conversation not related to the game. This is what they sounded like in print,

“Hey motherfucker, these are great seats for the price.”
“Fuck ya. I thought sitting in the fucking corner was going to suck, man. Shit, these are awesome.”
“We were sitting fucking way up there. Fucking good seats, too, but these are better motherfucker.”

You get the gist. Every other word out of their mouth was a profanity. My wife asked politely if they can refrain a bit due to the 5 year old. They start muttering, “that’s the difference between an East coast game and a West coast game.” Of course at this point they are talking out of their asses.

How sad to think that no one has any consideration any longer. You can cheer and support your team. Profanities are the norm in that respect. Just grow up and be aware that some of us are trying to raise children who understand respect and consideration. I’m not talking the “liberal” kind, either. I’m talking real values.

My attitude changed when I checked the score this morning. I don’t like hoping our team would lose, but this time I did, and they lost big time after holding a lead all game.

Take that you motherfuckers. Inconsiderate jackasses.

What does the fact that they are hispanic have to do with the story. Were you afraid they were going to kinfe you? Black, I suppose, would also have been relative to the story. Had they been white it would not have mattered so much. Of course, I forget, white people don’t cuss

Fact: They were Hispanics. That is why it is pertinent to the story.
Fact: It does not matter if they are White, Black, Asian, Jewish, Gay; what they did was rude.
Fact: I know White people who cuss as much.
I would still post the same rant if they were of any other race or creed, and we would have also asked them to throttle back on the profanities. In no case is it right or proper to use profanities in this way around young children.

Are you saying I am afraid of YOU? Are you the type that will knife someone in the back? Why do you bring this up? You are doing the classic reverse discrimination. Do you know me? Do you know if I am White, Black, Asian, Canadian, or whatever?

I live with and around Mexicans, Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, Red-necks, and a whole slew of other ethnic backgrounds. Some of my best friends are Black and Hispanics. Do they use profanities? Yes. Do they use profanities like this bunch at the game? No. The people I know are considerate, not rude. These men were rude and inconsiderate, a theme that is recurring in this country.

      Thank you for your comments.

    To the idiot webmaster,

If hispanics are not relevant to the reason you posted this piece, why did you use “hispanics” as one of only 3 tags…..

the tone is typical racist republican, and diminishes an otherwise valid point and story.

Because in this instance Hispanics were involved. Get over it. Facts are facts you dumb liberal.
